Join the Florida Humanities Council and our state's finest scholars for an in-depth cultural exploration of a Florida community.
Guided by pre-eminent scholars, local cultural and civic leaders, and long-time members of the community, FHC's Gathering trips uncover the distinct qualities that define a community's history and create its cultural identity.
Since 1996, Gathering participants have traveled to Okeechobee, Homossassa, Polk County, Mount Dora, Deland, Fernandina Beach, the Everglades, St. Augustine, Cedar Key, Fort Pierce, and Madison.
