Directory of Humanities Professionals
Visit our new on-line Directory of Humanities Professionals. There you will find scholars and other qualified professionals (storytellers, musicians, culture bearers) who are willing to participate in public humanities programs.  They can be engaged as researchers, planners, discussion leaders, writers, consultants, facilitators, lecturers, and panelists. Funding is available to cover the costs and honorarium of qualified humanities professionals for FHC-funded projects or other humanities projects in Florida.

Speakers Bureau
Let our Road Scholars program bring the humanities to your town. FHC’s speakers bureau offers high-quality humanities programs for non-profit organizations planning free, public events. Road Scholars—some of our state’s finest scholars, authors, musicians, and actors—will travel to your community and present engaging, entertaining programs to the audience that you gather for them.

PRIME TIME
Prime Time provides a six-to-eight week program of reading, discussion and storytelling for parents and children.  This library-based program targets children between the ages of 6 and 10 and their parents. The program introduces families to libraries and encourages them to read together and talk about books.  Click here to learn more about this new program being offered to libraries statewide by FHC.
